De Palette is ontworpen door MOT. Het leren kussen is op maat gemaakt van hoogwaardig koeienleer in een compact formaat, en het patroon is ontworpen door de MOT-studio zelf.
Het hout dat voor de Palette wordt gebruikt is kevazingo. Vergeleken met gewoon walnotenhout is het dichter en heeft het een betere textuur. Het wordt bewerkt en gepolijst met CNC-technieken.
