Took it out of the box and immediately noticed how balanced the handle feels in the palm, even before putting the edge to work. The M390 blade has held its edge through a week of camping tasks without a single touch-up, which honestly surprised me.

The ZDP189 steel takes a scary-sharp edge, and it’s held up through two weeks of box-cutting without a single touch-up. Honestly didn't expect this level of fit and finish for the price, the M390 side feels smooth in the hand and locks up tight.

Cut open a dozen cardboard boxes the first week and the edge still shaves arm hair without a touch-up. The ZDP189 side holds its bite noticeably longer than any other knife I've owned, and the M390 balances it out for tougher jobs. Fit and finish in hand feels premium for the price, no complaints.
